There is a drug that deludes people into thinking they will live forever if they consume it. Its other name is Peach. It is named after the elixir of the immortals called 'Bando' (the Celestial Peach) from the Queen Mother of the West’s orchard in Journey to the West. Bando. Or the Celestial Peach. A mystical fruit known to grant eternal youth and longevity to those who eat it.
However, when a human consumes it, the following symptoms manifest:
Youth. Vitality and energy. Sexual vigor.
Therefore, those who knew of this indulged in the peach.
Yet, the peach held a hidden secret. It is an unavoidable side effect. The stigma stamped upon it bears the shape of a genitalia, and the hands and feet develop edema, gradually swelling up. Some people belatedly attempt to sweat it out through exercise to escape the peach's grasp. It may look like their only hope. But it cannot be reversed. It merely plants a slight illusion into a body that has sustained irreversible damage.
