I approach work like training—just like an athlete trains, or a soldier drills. To me, there’s no real difference. That’s why I enjoy working the way elite athletes train: with focus, consistency, and a mindset of continuous improvement.
Top-tier athletes rarely train alone. They often have a team—a conditioner, a trainer, a coach to correct their form, a nutritionist to manage their diet. I may not have those people, but I still aim to operate at peak performance. To do that, I need internal balance, just like an athlete relies on their support team. I don’t have a nutritionist, but I can plan my meals with the right balance of protein, carbs, and fats. I don’t train at high intensity like a professional, but I can schedule time for conditioning and cardio.
Balance in programming. Balance in business. I don’t bury myself in code to the point of burnout, nor do I get lost in chasing every new trend in tech. That’s how I live—as both an entrepreneur and a developer.
